What do you love about the area?: We love the cul-de-sac location and our great neighbors. Driving onto the street, you already begin to relax and enjoy the beauty of the well maintained homes. The trees and spruce stand out as well as the very private surroundings. Sitting on the pergola or out above the wetlands on the limestone patio, by a warm fire-pit, with family and friends. The easy access to I-35, only 3 minutes away, 45 minutes to the cities and under an hour to the airport. The Riverwalk access is across the street and it is the most beautiful place to walk in the mornings all year long, because the Sunrise river rarely freezes, if then, only for a few days.


What are some great things about North Branch?: The things I like best are all of the towns close by have their yearly founding days and so many different types of attractions, they almost keep you busy every weekend.


What are some of the Parks/Playgrounds nearby?: We have the Central Park, Checkerboard Park, and Harder Park. We also have the Wild River State park and Interstate Park. The city has an outdoor skating rink during the winter months, up until it begins to melt with the warmer weather.


What restaurants are nearby?: We love to walk up to Pizza Pub for fun. The Oaks has a nice homey feel. We also recommend Cafe Stuga for all day great food, especially the desserts.


What grocery stores or nearby shopping is there?: We have the North Branch Outlet stores, Kohls and a very nice hometown grocery.


Information about the schools in our area: The North Branch Schools are very competitive and have taken on a new look for the future.


What do you do for interests and hobbies near the property?: What we love here is that we have many nice lakes within 20 minutes, especially the Rush Lake. We also have two fun eateries, to Center lake in Lindstrom and Chisago.


Tell us about any additional property highlights, upgrades, recent updates that have been done: Our most favorite is the Rain Garden, we had just moved in and we were approached by the USDA to add this beautiful feature, over 135 individual perennials we planted by hand. The newest is the 16x10 limestone natural stone patio and fire pit, which is a slice of heaven. All stainless appliances when we 1st moved in to the house, not long after a new water heater. We have repainted all but 1 room of the home and added window treatments.


Key points about the house that we were drawn to when we first looked at the home:
The house for us was just the right size, not too big, but has a very roomy feel in every room. The nice big double pane windows that let so much light in and a perfect connection with nature from every window that you look out, just a very spacious home!
