  • What do you love about the area?: We love the privacy that our lot has knowing that no one can build behind us. Our neighbors are very friendly and helpful. Also, enjoy using the biking paths nearby as well as the various parks in the area.


  • What are some great things about Big Lake?: The things I love about Big Lake are the many parks and biking paths close by, the area of Big Lake is a small town feel but it just an easy commute to the Twin Cities as well.


  • What restaurants are nearby?: There are allot of different restaurants available in Big Lake, we really enjoy the Pizza Factory. There is also allot of variety in Monticello as well which is only a 5 minute drive away.


  • What grocery stores or nearby shopping if there?: We have a Cub Foods in Big Lake and there is also a Walmart in Monticello.


  • Information about the schools in our area: Big Lake school district is focused on individualized learning, employs high quality teachers and ensures our graduates are career and college ready. We have great schools!


  • What do you do for interests and hobbies near the property?: We really enjoy sitting outside and enjoying our yard, chatting with neighbors or working in our yard.


  • Tells us all about any additional property highlights, upgrades, recent updates that have been done:  In 2016 all new windows (Softlite) with lifetime warranty were installed as well as new patio doors. In 2015 we installed hardwood flooring in the upper level kitchen, dining and living room. In 2012 we put in a Carrier AC/furnace. In 2011 the roof and siding were replaced. There are also newer garage doors as well as custom wood blinds.
