What do you love about the area?: Lindstrom and Franconia Township have a small town atmosphere, great churches an award winning school district with abundant outdoor activities. What we love about Lindstrom most is its small town charm and friendly people. Being within an hour of the Twin Cities for work/play and still enjoying the peaceful country life.

What grocery stores or nearby shopping if there?: Locally we enjoy Brinks Market in Chisago City. In Forest Lake you'll find Aldi and a Walmart Super Center and Cub Foods. Cross the river into St. Croix Falls WI and you'll discover Market Place Foods and another Walmart Super Center. Our favorite place to grocery shop is our areas wonderful Farmers Markets. There are enough of them to find one open every day of the week during the growing season. Another great choice is our areas Community Sustained Agriculture (CSAs) options.
Information about the schools in our area: Chisago Lakes School District is a U.S. News and World Reports Bronze Award Winner. Our school district was also named one of Minnesota’s top 150 places to work. And your always welcome to join the district’s superintendent for a donut and coffee during his open meetings held regularly.

Key points about the house that we were drawn to when we first looked at the home: We always loved the serene paved road and the quiet peacefulness of the area. There are three lakes that surround the development and the wildlife abounds. You will hear the call of the loons during the day and the owls at night. The deer are daily visitors and the wild turkeys come through often. The hummingbirds and butterflies delight with their beauty and the woods bloom with large white Bloodroot flowers and graceful ferns. Truly gorgeous. Don't forget those spectacular Sugar Maples for their fall splendor and winter free flowing sap for maple syrup, YUM!
